Reviews

„From the very beginning of our collaboration, I have been deeply impressed by the refinement and sensitivity of his musical interpretations, supported by a fully professional pianistic technique. I would also like to emphasize that this young pianist demonstrates remarkable artistic maturity and ambition, both in his artistic vision and in shaping his future musical development.”
prof. dr hab. Zbigniew Raubo

“Julian Stanny’s pianistic technique has reached a level that enables him to undertake the most demanding solo repertoire. His playing is distinguished by emotional intensity, strong temperament, and a rich palette of sound colours.”

„I know Mr Stanny as a highly successful participant of a recent masterclass of mine at Music Academy in Krakow, Poland, where I had the pleasure of working intensely with him. He showed great artistic potential and progress during the lesson, and working with him was very fruitful and inspirational. That is why he left a very positive impression to me. Before that I heard him in my function as jury member during the 3rd International Competition of Polish Music in Rzeszów, where he took my attention as one of the most promising and talented candidates.”
prof. Tobias Koch

„Listeners have highlighted the thoughtfully shaped musical dramaturgy and narrative present in this pianist’s interpretations, as well as the beauty of sound he creates at the instrument. Particular appreciation was expressed for Julian Stanny’s deeply moving performances of works by Frédéric Chopin — the ‘poet of the piano’ — and Karol Szymanowski, regarded as a modernist master of musical colour.”
